What does it mean to invest in Aptera’s Offering?
Our crowdfunding campaign stands as a testament to our community’s collective drive, marking one of the most successful initiatives in history.
When you invest in Aptera, you are purchasing shares of Aptera stock. However, we operate under Regulation A (Reg-A), and the shares are not publicly traded on a stock exchange like traditional stocks. As a result, there isn’t a specific stock symbol associated with our Reg-A offering.
Instead, you become a shareholder through our Reg-A offering, and the shares are held and managed through our equity management platform, Computershare. Preparing for a future IPO, we’ve enlisted Computershare as our transfer agent. They’ve helped some of the tech industry’s best players manage their shareholders as they become public and beyond.

We are supported by over 17,000 investors (about the seating capacity of Madison Square Garden), 800,000+ community members, and 500 brand ambassadors who lend their expertise and enthusiasm to further our mission of creating solar transportation for everyone.
Invest $1,000+
- Receive a $100 coupon, which can be applied to your Aptera reservation fee or the purchase price of your vehicle in the future.
Invest $2,000+
- Receive a $1,000 coupon used to discount the purchase price of your vehicle. To qualify, new or existing investors must invest $2,000 on or after December 1st, 2023.
- Receive a $100 coupon, which can be applied to your Aptera reservation fee or the purchase price of your vehicle in the future.
Invest $10,000+
- You become an Aptera Accelerator, receiving one of the first 2,000 vehicle priority reservation slots for the Launch Edition Aptera. Review all Accelerator perks here.
- Receive a 5% discount on your Aptera (up to $2,500 value, applied after other coupons.)
- Receive a $1,000 coupon used to discount the purchase price of your vehicle.
- Receive a $100 coupon, which can be applied to your Aptera reservation fee or the purchase price of your vehicle in the future.
What Happens After I Invest?
If you are a shareholder, you can view your Aptera investment details online through either:
- Your Computershare account, our official equity management platform. In your account, you’ll find your investment details and documentation. When a new investment is finalized through the Investor Portal, it takes about five business days to transfer to Computershare. Shareholders will receive a notification to log into Computershare to monitor their ownership in Aptera.
- Your Aptera portal upon signing in. When a new investment is finalized, or fully vested, it can take 1-2 weeks to appear here.
To invest, please navigate to our online Investor Portal. As an existing investor, investments made before 2023 will not be displayed there.
Aptera shares are privately held securities that are not listed on any public exchanges for trading (Unlisted). For your investment to be liquidated, you will have to wait until the company goes public via IPO or gets acquired.
Can I Sell My Shares?
There is currently no liquidity market for Aptera’s shares. We encourage you to review our regular filings with the SEC to understand the current offering price per share and our financial history. Our executive team will provide more updates on the timeline and plan for an IPO. We will be sure to communicate our plan to you well in advance so that you can transfer your shares ahead of time. However, Computershare can provide direction on how to process a private sale of shares.
When will Aptera begin vehicle deliveries?
In November, the largest part of Aptera’s body was completed; the tub. The team is now prepping to bond together the BinC and assemble the first of many production-intent vehicles that will undergo validation and testing.
